Avid mushroom hunter, nature lover, mushroom cultivator, conservationist and Dad.
Come join Chris on a mushroom finding adventure, Chris will help you identify safe mushrooms and inedible look alikes. You will learn the habitats and ecosystems in which they flourish. Learn what trees are associated with each species and the times of year they can be found. As you walk the land you will learn how to care for it and respect it as you leave no trace behind of your hike.
Chris is a full of knowledge about the woods, mushrooms and most anything you will see along the way! Chris will always be first to spot wild life along the way, which He will point out to you as he’s always spotting great things along the hike.

Our tour is limited to 12 people and it’s for beginners eager to get started and more advanced mushroom

Chris advises bringing :
- A mesh bag in case you find mushrooms
- Hiking shoes or water boots as mushrooms like moisture!
- Please bring water
- A snack should you require it.
- Maybe a walking stick
- Bug spray
If you forget anything we will have water, snacks and mesh bags available for purchase,
The tour ending at the Paul A. Boyd farm where you will have the opportunity to shop for local farm products such as angus beef, tasty pork, farm fresh chicken and duck eggs and maple syrup,
Farm made fruit jams & jellies, local art, stained glass, candles and many other local goodies!
