Mid-Summer Fairy’s Home Building Fest

Guilford– Windham & Windsor Housing Trust has teamed up with Guilford Springs Farm to host the Magical Mid-Summer Fairy’s Home Fest on Thursday, August 22. This free and interactive, family-friendly event will take place from 1pm to 4pm at Springs Farm, located at 49 Carpenter Hill Road in Guilford.
All ages are invited for an imaginative afternoon building fairy houses and enjoying the sights and sounds of nature on this beautiful 12-acre property. Wings, wands and whimsical fairy attire are all encouraged. Admission is free, but donations are welcome and appreciated, with all proceeds going toward the creation of affordable homes in Southeastern Vermont.
WWHT sponsors include Mascoma Bank, The Vermont Country Store, Savings Bank of Walpole, Stewart Property Management, DEW Construction Company, GPI whose generous support enables events like this to remain admission free.
Who knows, maybe some fairies will make an appearance!
About Guilford Springs Farm:
Springs Farm is a diversified low-till, vegetable and cut-flower market garden in Guilford, Vermont, named for its historically significant location on the Mineral Springs Farm, established in 1804, and known for its healing mineral water springs. The farm also features two hives of honeybees, chickens and 200+ year-old maple trees.
