A policy for superintendent contract negotiations is being developed after criticism for lack of board input. Superintendent Speno feels good about his three-year contract with 4% annual raises. Board chair Beekman defended her actions and stated the board authorized negotiations. A previous raise was advised due to high inflation. Speno goes through an annual evaluation process.
