Green Up Day
May 4 @ 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
On the first Saturday in May, join fellow Vermonters in this unique, statewide volunteer event to clean up our neighborhood roads. This is an opportunity for us to work together as a community and focus on a common goal — cleaning up our Guilford roads. If you can volunteer for an hour or two to pick up roadside litter, it will make a huge difference!
Stop by the BBCC from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., where we will have Green Up trash bags and reflective vests for volunteers to pick up. The dump trucks will be parked there until 5 p.m. to receive all the roadside trash you can gather in your bags. Note that you can also pick up Green Up trash bags ahead of time at the Town Office.
We will also have a map where you can sign up for a road to clean. You can also sign up by emailing greenupguilford@gmail.com or calling 617 596-0460. Feel free to call or email with any questions.
