Tiny Theater is thrilled to announce a staged reading of Act I of Jon Robin Baitz’s celebrated play, Other Desert Cities. The reading will be performed by the Tiny Theater acting ensemble on Monday, October 27, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at ByWay Books, hosted by Severia Drake, located at 399 Canal Street in Brattleboro. Tiny Theater is a grassroots performance ensemble of trained actors dedicated to re-imagining theater as an accessible, intimate, and transformative experience. Our dedicated ensemble is committed to community storytelling, small performances, transformative readings and workshops throughout Brattleboro and southern Vermont. Other Desert Cities, a 2012 Pulitzer Prize finalist for Drama, is a sharp, witty, and deeply moving story about a wealthy, politically connected family facing an explosive secret.
