Good Day Folks,
Here at Tapalou Guilds Flower Farm, we are gearing up for a very exciting season! In addition to the flowers and food that we are tending on the farm, we are thrilled to be welcoming children to join us this year for two day camps – Flower Club and Farm & Forest.
These camps are for area children between the ages of 6-12 who are interested in embarking on an exploratory time together on the farm, in the forest and amongst nature. We came to farming through our work in the local food arena and with children in Farm to School activities and are excited to now welcome children to the land in a more structured way.
While Flower Club has sold out, we currently have openings in Farm & Forest day camp, where kids will also be steeped in flowery goodness on the farm. They will be invited to create nature-based art, do some building projects, cook a plethora of fresh foods over a fire in our forest kitchen, make a farm/forest obstacle course, play games, meet new friends and more. It's going to be a very special time of togetherness, exploration and PLAY! We hope you'll consider joining us.
